You have the right to instruct us not to share your personal information with third parties. Even if you instruct us to not share your personal information with third parties, we may still make disclosures to them for those purposes that are required or permitted by law. We are permitted to disclose your personal information to third parties with whom we have contracted to perform insurance functions.


How We Protect Your Information
We restrict access to your personal health information to individuals who need the information to provide services to you and to obtain claims payment. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized disclosure. You have the right access your files as well as receive an accounting of any disclosures of your information by filing a written request with Denver Biomedical. Any request will be responded to within 60 days.


Right to File a Complaint
You have the right to file a complaint if you feel your personal information has been compromised by filing a written complaint with Denver Biomedical. Any written complaint will be responded to in a timely manner. There will be no retaliation to any individual filing a complaint.
